VivvyAnne ForeverMore’s production “The Show” is a one-day-only large-scale outdoor multi-venue Drag performance event that celebrates the living oral, entertainment, and embodied traditions of the queer community. “The Show” will be presented as part of the biennial CounterPulse Festival taking place this October.

The project is produced by OX with collaborators Honey Mahogany, David Glamamore, and Joanna Haigood, as well as beloved local performers including Nicki Jizz, Lisa Frankenstein, Major Hammy, Fauxnique, Phoebe Cakes, Churro Nomi, Pseuda and more!

“The queer community is finding itself at an important moment of growth in light of both the pandemic and recent governmental, political, and actual attacks against queer and trans people across the country,” said ForeverMore. “‘The Show’ celebrates and uplifts the queer community’s capacity to resist, create, and adapt.”

As a co-owner of The STUD, Vivvy has created “The Show” as a response to rapidly disappearing physical queer spaces with temporary placemaking throughout San Francisco. The festival lasts from 1 p.m.-8:30, full schedule is available atwww.counterpulse.org/theshow
