Before she toured in “Hamilton” and performed on Broadway in “Groundhog Day,” “Head Over Heels” and “Six,” Taylor Iman Jones was Bay Area born and bred, getting her acting start at Bay Area companies including San Francisco Playhouse, Berkeley Playhouse, Ray of Light Theatre and Center Rep, among others.
Now the Fairfield (Solano County) homegirl is visiting the Bay as part of Bottles and Broadway, the new concert series from CollabWerks, a partnership among small companies Kimzin Creative, Redwood Theatre Company and THTR Productions.
At La Crema Winery, with patrons seated on BYO lawn chairs and picnic blankets, Jones, with her dusky sunlit voice and incandescent energy, will perform favorite tunes from “My Fair Lady,” “Company,” “In the Heights,” “Wicked,” “The Little Mermaid” and more. Food and wine are available for purchase.
